Yesterday was hectic.
Hectic while I was going home. There was this 1km long traffic along my route home.
I would have been frustrated if I was the one driving.
But this time around I was being driven.
It was an eternal 30 minutes+ before we got to the main cause of the traffic.
It was the vehicle of someone who ran out of fuel and blocked one of the 2-lane road.
It got me thinking.
I mean, I was really thinking.
Just 1 man and 1 vehicle temporarily disrupted the lives of over 200 Nigerian residents.
I slept over the lessons and still thought about it.

Today was hectic.
Hectic while I was going home.
This time around, I was being driven by ME.
And out of frustration, I parked and rested for 30 minutes before proceeding to join the seemingly-eternal traffic.
This time around, the traffic seemed to be 1.5km long.
This time around I was expecting a similar vehicle along the similar spot.
Alas, it was not one vehicle.
I got to the origin of the traffic and expected to witness the annual General board meeting of the association of witches in that area.
I didn’t seem to see any.
Or maybe it was their meeting that caused the traffic indirectly.
I saw the main cause of the traffic.
About 3 vehicles had broken down at different spots on the main express.
It got me thinking.
I mean, I was really thinking.

I was thinking about the impact of the breakdown of someone’s dreams/vision/vehicle can cause in delay for other people’s lives.
I was thinking how sometimes the bad/negligence that one person does can indirectly affect the good people in an area.
I was thinking about what will happen if I don’t take care of my vision, myself and my vehicle.
I was thinking of how many lives will be temporarily affected albeit in a detrimental way if my vision, sorry, vehicle broke down in the middle of the expressway.

It got me thinking
I mean, I’m still thinking.
And the words that I could hear in my heart…. TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE, VISION & LIFE SO THAT IT DOESN’T SUDDENLY BREAK DOWN ON THE ROAD THEREBY TEMPORARILY IMPEDING THE LIVES OF OTHERS.

It got me thinking
And I decided that I’ll do my best…..
I’ll do my best NOT TO CAUSE TRAFFIC BEFORE ARRIVING AT MY FINAL DESTINATION OF……
